Investing in your health is one of the most important decisions you can ever make. There is no finer motivation in life than that of being healthy. Nothing is more important than your health, for without it you have nothing!
The commitment to achieve strong health and fitness requires strength on both mental and physical levels; exactly the philosophy TBC has been founded upon. Many years of hard work have gone into the founding principles behind the establishment of the TBC philosophy.
TBC discovered a long time ago just how strong and how much the training ideas and concept of any gymnasium or health and fitness facility affected those who trained and belonged there. The TBC philosophy is founded upon a commitment to excellence in helping people be fitter and healthier through 1) an Educated Approach, 2) Fun, and 3) The Right Attitude.
As part of the establishment of these principles it is advised that when considering coming on board with us to improve your health and fitness endeavours, you ask yourself the following four questions:
1- What is it that I want to achieve?
2- Why do I want to achieve this?
3- What do I have to do to achieve this?
4- How important is it that I achieve this?
Probably the main reason why most people do not work out and remain undertrained is that they believe it is supposed to be painful, difficult, and complex. At TBC, we have always found that the best way to get someone to start regular exercise is through education. When people understand how easy it actually is to increase their energy and endurance, they are usually hooked!
Others are simply embarassed because in reality, they really do not have any idea about what to do or how to start training. They believe that everybody knows about working out, and they become afraid to walk into a gymnasium or any fitness centre, where they expect to come across only power bodies and mirrors. Furthermore, they may also have been told by their doctor, who in all likelihood knows as little as they do about exercise, to start a program but not given individualised guidelines.
Regardless of the extent of previous experience, our aim is to encourage your physical development and personal achievement by emphasising enjoyment, promoting understanding, and creating challenging as well as varied training schedules. This is achieved through tailoring a structured, progressive, and systematic approach around your everyday life for maximum results.
At TBC, we know from experience that being fit and healthy is a challenge for most people. As a result, we are here to encourage you to reconsider the ways with which you look upon exercise and help you stop thinking of it as just another 'To Do' list and actually get you excited about what physical activity can really do for you.
Most of us know we should invest time into exercise and that we need to eat more healthily, but somehow something keeps getting in the way; - living our lives. So often, we know we should take more exercise and eat more healthily, but the perception of how much we actually have to do in order to improve our health and fitness becomes a pressure and not a pleasure! Our aim at TBC is to provide you with the tools and information you need so that you can understand and improve your body, without putting your life on hold.
The amount of service and support individuals require to improve their health and fitness varies considerably. This is not only because each one of us is unique and different but because we at TBC view health and fitness as two separate entities. The difference between them stems the foundation of an exercise philosophy that most people are unaware of or understand. This is what we at TBC call true or total fitness; and the more extensive your involvement with us becomes, the more you will come to an understanding of this concept along with the others that TBC as a whole has been founded upon.
What we have on offer at TBC is an enormous wealth of experience in health and fitness that began over fifteen years ago. We are committed to serving you with sincere enthusiasm and attention to your needs. We want your experience to be equally exciting, fun, and educational.
