Since we started Goodlife Health Clubs in Queensland in 2002, it’s been our goal to create a welcoming environment where fitness, health, nutrition and wellbeing go hand-in-hand.

MEET A REAL HERO: GOODLIFE CEO, LEON McNIECE

What were you doing before Goodlife Health Clubs?
My background is in hospitality... [but] my real passion was in the health and fitness industry.
In 1994 I purchased my first health club and have loved going to work ever since.

How often do you workout?
I try and workout six days a week, mostly running and resistance training. However, I have started to include yoga and Pilates in my regime.

What inspires you?
Achieving my dreams. I’m truly inspired by people who are living their lives passionately, doing exactly what they love doing.

Why is it important to lead a healthy life?
We only have one body to last a whole lifetime. If we plan on being active and vital in our older years (as I do) we need to respect our bodies and keep them functioning effectively.
