Fitness Now offers two different forms of fitness classes at an affordable price:
Aerobic Kickboxing Fitness
Jab, hook and kick your way to improved cardiovascular fitness and great muscle definition.
The mix of kickboxing and self-defence will leave you feeling energised and strong and will help your self-esteem and confidence to soar. Experience the workout of a lifetime!
You have the discipline and control of martial arts and the energy and fun from aerobics in one complete package.
Aerobic Kickboxing Fitness is a complete body workout. It concentrates on the use of core stability to develop good posture and internal muscular strength. The use of martial arts movements is what makes the difference. The "boxing" movements will give you an abdominal workout like no other. High repetition movements elevate your heart rate to encourage the development of a more efficient cardiovascular system, burn calories and increase the muscle tone to your arms, buttocks, legs--everywhere.
The programme is based on a small number of simple exercises that are easy to do. All the exercises can be modified to suit your ability.
This is a non-contact kickboxing class. Bring hand-weights (1-3kg) for conditioning segment; towel/mat; water bottle.
Sessions run for 8 weeks within each school term.
Aerobic Dancing Fitness
Feel the rhythm of life and freedom of movement in a vibrant, fun aerobic dance orientated workout.
Simple, achievable aerobic patterns fused together with a variety of dance styles including Hip Hop, Club, Salsa, Latin and Jazz.
Easy to learn "structured freestyle" choreography allows individual interpretation and expression. With the growing popularity of dance music as well as fitness and dance-based classes in Europe and the U.S.A., Aerobic Fusion Dance is set to be the next hot trend on the group exercise floor.
Awesome fun! Great to improve co-ordination. A combination of dance and aerobics moves blended with the latest and greatest music incorporating Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk and Latin. A good cardiovascular workout for all levels of fitness.
Incorporates Pilates matwork and resistance training. All levels of fitness welcome. Bring towel/mat, water, hand-weights (1-3kg) an advantage.
Sessions run for 10 weeks with each school term.
