“Getting stronger from the inside out only through Pilates”

About Pilates
The Pilates Method was developed from the rehabilitation techniques of Joseph H. Pilates (1880-1968).

The Pilates Method includes equipment and mat exercises. Pilates’ equipment is uniquely designed to be both challenging and supportive to the body. It is in this way that Pilates Method exercises can be tailored to suit all ages and physical conditions.

Located in the heart of Chatswood it’s the first and only fully equipped Pilates Studio in the area. Our fully certified professional instructors bring years of experience to this fresh new studio. This calm, sunlit boutique studio provides a welcoming environment for both beginners and experienced Pilates enthusiasts alike.

Pilates is a mind-body system of exercise that can be used for fitness, professional sport training and physical rehabilitation of all kinds.

Why the Pilates Method works

Pilates is used in rehabilitation to retrain and restore optimal musculo-skeletal function by promoting healthy neuromuscular movement patterns to alleviate pain and prevent further injury.

Pilates is more than core stabilization, it normalizes and integrates muscle recruitment patterns and rebuilds efficiency in normal movement and function for the entire body.

Pilates’ equipment is spring loaded to provide resistance that is variable and “functional” using the entire body.

Evidence based research and clinical success have lead to the increased use of the Pilates Method in sports medicine centres and rehabilitation hospitals in Australia.
